Tenant Information

Harrison Thorn believes that all tenants should be treated with respect. Our business is underpinned by our strong ethos. We make sure you are informed and supported throughout your tenancy period when we are managing the property on behalf of a landlord. Open, regular and prompt communication between you, the agency and where necessary the landlord is essential. We are always looking for good reliable tenants and will work hard to meet your tenancy needs.

 

Rent/Deposit & Agent Fees

A Holding Deposit may be incurred to a max one week's rent.
First months rent in advance. 
Tenancy Deposit up to a maximum equivalent to 5 weeks rent.
Early termination (when requested by the tenant) may incur a charge not exceeding the financial loss experienced by the Landlord.
Late Rent interest charged at 3% above Bank of England base rate when rent is more than 14 days late.
Lost key or security devices equivalent to cost of the loss incurred.
Changing tenancy documents (when requested by the tenant) £50

During the tenancy (payable to the provider) if permitted and applicable
Council Tax
Utilities including gas, electricity and water 
Services that the tenants arrange including for TV, phone or broadband

Tenant Protection
Harrison Thorn is a member of CMP, which is a client money protection scheme, and also a member of PRS, which is a redress scheme.
